March 2000 - Alta Wessex was founded by Don Aplin as the sole distributor for Alta* products and services in the Wessex area (covered by postcodes TA, DT, SP, BH, SO & PO).

July 2001 - joined by Len Vickery. Now covering Dorset and Somerset

April 2005 - took over Alta's AI Technician Service in Dorset, operated by Dave Rowland and Jonathon Hole

April 2006 - Robert Lane joined AI Technician team in East Dorset

May 2006 - Guy Hickley sets up AI service in Somerset
